Design Description
Hi Colin. Thank you so much for the feedback. I was struggling with the idea of how to get that same effect without the softness of the watercolors, when I came up with another design inspired by coffee stains (which I love to use with watercolors). The main concept is to have an "accidental" coffee spill take the more ordinary elements of a logo and turn the mark into something unique. I used a circular cup stain, and created a splash that looked like a very interesting "m" shape. I kept the rest of the logo very straightforward to make the organic coffee shapes the main focus of the mark. I also tried a couple of different colors, but the deep violet/purple gives it a nice contrast and makes the coffee color pop. It''s a different idea, but I hope you like it.
